GGPoker has started off its high rollers week with a bunch of events. The biggest prize of $170,705 will be revealed on Sunday, June 8th, 2021, for the high roller’s main event. Entering the final table for this event, the chip leader is Russian, who goes by the alias GODofMTT. GGPoker’s event 3, the Sunday High Rollers Main event, had started with 957 players. The event has a minimum $1 million pool, and $43,000 was added to it.
The minimum weigh-in for the event for all players was $2797. But the nine finalists left at the table now are all guaranteed to walk away with at least $17,070. So GODofMTT has a massive lead as he goes into the finals. He has 22,574,916 chips in his pocket, which is worth almost 90.3 big blinds. Therefore, it will be challenging for the other finalists to take over GODofMTT.
GODofMTT has had a perfect run at GGPoker. He has almost a million dollars in earnings from GGPoker. In the GG Spring Festival Event L-15, he won a prize of $45,251. Ioannis Angelou Konstas is a Greek player who is second on the pre-final rankings below GODofMTT. In this event, if Konstas gets even 6th place or above, he will have earned more than $2.5 million in winnings from GGPoker. Szagos from Hungary is ranked third on the points table for the main event. He has 12,716,174 chips as he enters the final. He also has nearly 2 million in earnings from GGPoker events.
In fourth place is Turkish Uraizelfold. Besides doing well at the main event, he has also reached the second day of the $5 million guaranteed event Super Millions at GGPoker high roller weekend. In fifth place is Victor Ustimov. In WSOP 2020, he won a massive prize of $755,754. With 7,402,157 chips on the table, OPPikachu comes in sixth place. Below him is Thomas Muehlocker with 26.1 big blinds. In eighth place is Canada’s BankruptYou, and in the ninth position is Elio Fox.
GODofMTT has a definite lead, but all nine players are still in the running for the prize, and most of them have enough experience at significant events to turn the tide in their favor if GODofMTT makes even a tiny mistake.
