RPM Esports has announced that it has selected HyperX as one of its team sponsor partners. RPM Esports is a simulation racing team, while HyperX is the company operating in the peripherals segment. As a result of this deal, the RPM team’s drivers will be provided with peripherals from HyperX. HyperX is the fifth sponsor to join the RPM Esports team with other four names, including Student Motorsport, World Pro racing, GT Omega Racing, and GamingMalta.
Commenting on this association, the RPM Esports founder and team manager said that getting HyperX onboard is a great joy and pride for their team. More importantly, this will enhance the drivers’ safety and security as the HyperX peripherals are quite known for their sturdiness and reliability. The utility of headsets will come in handy, especially while making the process of endurance racing slightly easy for drivers.
HyperX has made its presence felt in the sim racing segment after the company secured sponsorships with many renowned organizations worldwide. One of the prominent deals of the HyperX is with the World Pro Racing, where the former has provided peripherals to the latter’s broadcasting studios, offices, and other allied facilities.
It is also significant to consider the impressive growth prospects that the sim racing category has achieved of late. The COVID-19 has contributed significantly to the virtual racing with many world-renowned championships, such as Formula One, NASCAR, and IndyCar, turning to virtual platforms to keep enthusiasts glued to their screens.
It makes a business sense for HyperX to collaborate with the RPM Esports to expand its scope of operation. The focus and attention on the sim racing are to stay in the future, and therefore, it is a wise decision on HyperX’s part to sponsor one of Europe’s leading teams.
