Simplebet Partners With Fanduel to Launch a Free to Play Game
Simplebet, a sports tech company, partnered with FanDuel Group for launching a free to play (FTP) game. This FTP game will be offering mock in-play bets during the National Football League (NFL) 2020 season. Simplebet wants to sharpen its micro-marketing technology by utilizing sports gambling. The company posted a tweet yesterday to announce this partnership.
Simplebet’s Partnership with FanDuel
This will be a one year contract wherein FanDuel will be utilizing the free game in mobile app and sportsbook for converting casual fans into serious customers who are ready to bet real money. Simplebet lets players wager on different quick odds such as will the following call be a running or passing play or which player will be taking the next catch.
Initially, the agreement involves the free game, but Simplebet is interested in developing a long term association with FanDuel.
Chris Bevilacqua, CEO and Co-founder of Simplebet, mentioned that their organization is interested in increasing its brand awareness and in collecting data about fan engagement to expand its platform for micro-market betting further.
Micro-market Betting Platform
This micro-market betting platform utilizes automation and machine learning for generating fast betting opportunities while the sporting contest is going on. Bevilacqua added that this has never been done before due to a lack of investment in this field.
Bevilacqua said that these are engagement-driven micro betting opportunities and Simplebet is turning traditional bets such as outcome-based and over-under bets into multiple mini-games that happen throughout the game.
