Sports Betting Market in Arizona Sees Adjacent Bookings for Stadium Sportsbooks

The Sports betting landscape in Arizona is taking form. Some of the biggest stadiums across the downtown area of Phoenix are arranging for sportsbooks. Last month saw a new tribal compact and the Arizona sports betting legislation signed by Governor Doug Ducey.

This has eventually led to the emergence of partnerships with Arizona sportsbooks.

Caesars Sportsbook and Arizona Diamondbacks formed a partnership that came to light this Thursday with an announcement of them forming a stadium book at the chosen Chase Field. Caesars can finally venture into sports betting online with the deal coming through.

Tom Reeg, the CEO of Caesars Entertainment, was quick to quip that they are excited to expand in the sports betting field and work with Arizona Diamondbacks. Both online gaming and in-person games close to the ballpark will be enabled for Cesras entertainment in Arizona.

Ten licenses were granted to professional sports organizations and another 10 for the tribes in the documents signed by Ducey. This coincided with the Phoenix Suns partnering with FanDuel.

The Phoenix Suns Arena is in the listing to open up a sportsbook by the Suns and the FanDuel. This takes into account the license for launching a betting platform named mobile AZ sports.

The downtown Phoenix area has the Phoenix Suns Arena and the Chase Field located in the vicinity, with a two-block walk acting as a separation.

Reports on Caesars confirm that the company seeks to build a first-class sportsbook coupled with a bar concept. With a location worth envying, especially with a plaza right outside the  Diamondbacks’ stadium.

Caesars closed the acquisition of William Hill not too long ago. William Hill was the first to open a sportsbook at the Capital One Arena.

The DraftKings sportsbook at Wrigley’s Chicago Cubs and the BetMGM at D.C.’s Nationals Park are other major baseball stadium sportsbooks that have been announced.

TPC Scottsdale promises a stunning visual masterpiece at their 19th hole experience, what with DraftKings becoming the first in Arizona to claim a partner this April.

The TPC Scottsdale course hosts the PGA Tour‘s Waste Management Phoenix Open each year. In 2023, The Waste Management Open will coincide with the Superbowl; its party-like experience will be maximized.

There are still quite a few major uncoupled organizations. The list includes the Arizona Cardinals, the Phoenix Coyotes as well as the Phoenix International Raceway.

The organizational representatives had a meet during the legislative procedure in which it was decided that Cardinal’s State Farm Stadium would be hosting the Super Bowl in 2023.
